Watercress & Crapaudine πŸ₯¬πŸ’œ

Watercress

It is the beginning of the season for this delicious leaf. As the morning temperatures start to dip, the cress leaves grow larger and the flavour becomes more pronounced, giving us a (small currently), daily supply of watercress from the Île-de-France. While volumes are low, the bunches are packed in 6s, so it’s a great time to try it!

Crapaudine

The original and tastiest beetroot is the Crapaudine, with its distinctive long shape and earthy taste, and it has been around for more than 1000 years. It is difficult and labourious to cultivate, but the result is a gnarled root that tastes great! Deep in colour, the root comes to life when roasted with sweet and nutty overtones. We can supply them raw or already roasted.
