French Watercress form South of Paris

Near the Domaine de Méréville, in the centre of the Juine Valley; a gorgeously maintained natural setting, the Villa Paul and the Barberot family are behind the beautiful watercress which has been using the same method of harvesting for fifty years;  with the workers standing in clean, unpolluted water and using just boots and a knife as tools.

Watercress has a long history of being valued for its therapeutic and medicinal qualities. It is well known as a health food because it is low in calories, high in iron, and rich in vitamin C.
